Jupiter Island is a special tropical island off the coast of Florida near Tequesta and Hobe Sound. The ocean is clear and warm, the palms tall and the air of graceful elegance surrounds the entire island.
On the southern end near the Jupiter Inlet Colony is a small condo called the JIB Club. Located overlooking the marina, units have views of the Intracoastal, the famous Jupiter Lighthouse and from the upper floors, the ocean.

Jupiter Island condos offer direct ocean views
Jupiter Island, long the quiet retreat for the very wealthy, also has a more modest side. On the south end of the Island, near Jupiter Inlet Colony, are some condos that sit directly on the ocean. Built during the 1980's these condos for sale have fabulous views of both the ocean and the Jupiter Lighthouse but don't have the high fees associated with newer units on Singer Island or Juno Beach.
The beach here is open to the public...but there is no place to park so you basically have a private beach. Further to the north, Coral Cove provides the public with ocean access so they go up there for a day of fun. And for some reason the water is more clear on this side of the Inlet than on the side south.
Most of the condos are 2 bedroom, 2 baths units although there are some luxury units in buildings like the Carlyle and the Claridge. Elin Nordegren looked at one of these penthouse units before settling on a $12.3 million dollar oceanfront mansion in North Palm Beach.
On the Intracoastal side of the Island, condos have water views up and down the ICW and views of the famous Jupiter Lighthouse. The location is perfect too for a quick jaunt down to the Gardens Mall, just 8 miles to the south or to the restuarants along the Inlet like Brix and the new Bubba Gump which will be opening soon.
